IBM, Technip Energies and Under Armour create Reju: a polyester textile recycling company – Ecotextile
Engineering firm Technip Energies is building on an existing partnership with tech specialist IBM and activewear brand Under Armour to set up a new company to pioneer a new polyester recycling technology.
Branded as Reju, the new company will focus on recycling of polyester textiles and the production of rPET fibre, the demand for which is being driven by industry pledges and targets on recycling, regulation and consumer awareness of the need to reduce plastic waste.
