SK Geo Centric (SKGC) is partnering with Loop Industries and Suez Group to build a plant in France capable of chemically recycling PET – Ecotextile News
South Korean petrochemicals company SK Geo Centric (SKGC) has become an equal partner in a joint venture vying to establish PET recycling infrastructure in France.
The company joins recycling innovator Loop Industries and environmental services group Suez, which in January announced their ambition of erecting a new facility capable of processing more than 70,000 tonnes of PET resin per annum.
“This collaboration will be the first step for SK Geo Centric to move beyond Asia to be a global eco-friendly chemical company,” said the firm’s CEO, Na Kyung-Soo.
